Hälsotorg is part of the VO Digital Care area. Hälsotorg is a unit that has grown and developed significantly over the past few years, and we are now located at Bollnäs Hospital, Gävle Hospital, Hudiksvall Hospital, Tullhuset, and Söderhamn's local hospital. We employ health educators, care guides, and informers. We strive to make it easy to be a patient and to get help in improving one's lifestyle habits. The position is split between 50% clinical health educator and 50% assistant unit manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the assistant unit manager at Hälsotorg, you will work closely with the unit manager to lead the unit and be involved in its development. You will be responsible for daily management, schedule planning, and have the opportunity to manage your own development projects in dialogue with the unit manager. The ultimate responsibility for the operation lies with the unit manager, although you will be highly involved. You will also substitute for the unit manager in their absence.

As an assistant unit manager with us, you will:

• lead, communicate, and coordinate staffing planning
• collaborate within the operational area as well as with other operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to lead and enjoys working innovatively; you see opportunities and have a positive attitude towards changes and new ways of working. You are secure, empathetic, and attentive while also being confident in setting boundaries and being clear. You have the ability to build relationships and collaborate, and you handle challenges constructively.

Since this is a split position, you also enjoy clinical work and have good experience with motivational interviewing, seeing the advantages of incorporating patient meeting experiences into the leadership role.

In the role of assistant unit manager, you have:

• a university degree as a health educator, public health expert, or equivalent competence
• a B driver's license.

It is advantageous if you have experience in leadership and/or change management. Travel within the region is required as we have units in several locations, and the assignment is region-wide. Great emphasis will be placed on your leadership profile and personal suitability.
